This photo was actually supposed to be called “My Ride Home II” but since the gal on the pic, Maria, is going to the UK in a few hours and for a couple of years it might as well be Godspeed since it shows a travelling, well, Maria. And God might fit too since Maria is moving to this god forsaken country (at least from the viewpoint of the very Catholic Maltese and Bavarian people… ah just kidding).
Anyways. I like this version way more than the first one I posted. It needed less editing and filtering and just has this very nice emotion going for it. I like the framing, the composition, the colors and Maria’s sweet expression, all good therefore. Ah yes and it’s sharper than the last version too.
I added a few more pics of our photoshoot as well.
And yes I planned to post a few more pics than I did recently but I’m still doing better than in the last couple of years I guess. Stay tuned there is still a lot of stuff I haven’t posted yet. And you may notice it but possible not: I updated the theme of my webpage and therefore the overall design is a bit different. I really like a few changes here, maybe you guys can spot them.

Das Bild ist beschnitten? Tut das nicht weh?
Im Ernst: Es geht ja nicht darum, daß sie auf jemanden oder etwas schauen soll. Es ist halt hinter dem Fenster gleich Schluß für unseren Blick, da ist quasi eine Wand (und die besteht aus einem nicht sehr spannenden Objekt, einem zweiten Bus). Ein Blick in eine mögliche ferne Landschaft z.B. wäre spannender, oder auf etwas anderes mit mehr Tiefe im Raum – etwas, das halt ein bißchen was erzählt. Stell dir das Bild vor, wenn da die weite Wüste von Arizona zu sehen wäre, oder gedrängte Menschenmassen, von denen sie dann durch die Glasscheibe getrennt wäre.
Stimmt das wäre potentiell interessant. Naja wollte die Fotos ursprünglich in einem fahrenden Bus schiessen, da wäre das mit Hintergrund mehr der Fall gewesen. Ging sich aber zeitlich nicht aus plus: üble Wachelpartie in den Dingern und potentiell viele unscharfe Fotos

Dieser Kommentar sollte natürlich eigentlich als Antwort auf Alex’ Antwort weiter unten stehen – aber leider wirft diese Kommentarfunktion das hier gerne etwas durcheinander.
Such a cool series. I love her expression, especially since I know the model. I would not have expected her to relax so much and bring out such expressivity in her pictures. Must have been the music.

Ganz gutes Photo, könnte aber spannender sein. Ich finde den Gesichtsausdruck irgendwie nichtssagend, was aber auch daran liegen könnte, daß es kein Element im Bild als Kontrast gibt – wenn man durch das Fenster etwas anderes sehen könnte als nur einen verschwommenen zweiten Bus, könnte das Bild aufregender sein.
Ach das Bild ist ja beschnitten:es gab ursprünglich noch einen Panflöte spielenden Elefanten im Bus aber der hat mir dann noch zu sehr abgelenkt.
